INTENDED USE
This Product is intended to be use by professionals to quantitative determination of AMH in human serum, plasma in vitro.
CLINICAL SIGNIFICANCE
AMH (Anti-Mullerian hormone) is a dimer glycoprotein secreted by granulosa cells of preantral follicles and small antral follicles. AMH secretion gradually increases and peaks from birth to puberty, and then decreases with age. AMH is positively correlated with the number of small follicles in the ovary, independent of the menstrual cycle and hormonal medications, and can be used to assess ovarian reserve function or aid in the diagnosis of polycystic ovary syndrome.
